Two Inches of Snow in London!
Okay, I know that two inches of snow in Minnesota is certainly not news worthy, worth getting up early to go out in it, and certainly nothing to get crazy about and take pictures of, but two inches of snow in London is quite rare. And, I have to admit that I got a little crazy about it too, not having seen snow here! Many kids here may not have ever seen or played in snow, hard to imagine being from the midwest, but it is true. Sophie certainly was having fun in it and she actually got to play in some snow in December. Didn't matter, she still was touching it, kicking it and at one point tried to eat some--yuck! By lunch it was almost completely gone, just little bits here and there. It just doesn't stay long enough to enjoy it much. Nice to see it, but I will admit it is okay that it is gone and today was warmer. I am spoiled here and am going to freeze when we get back to the land of the cold!
